5Wonderful power supply for a fast 6 core PC!
By jjceo (jjceo@comcast . net)
I build 6 core CPU computers and usually use dual GPU cards in CrossFire and you need a lot of power to do that. I also usually use between 4 to 8 hard drives and a SSD solid state drive for a boot drive in addition to a Blu-ray burner and a DVD burner. To do all that and water cooling and a lot of fans you need a good power supply that is stable and runs cool in the case.

This power supply fits the job perfectly as it features a large 135 mm dual ball bearing cooling fan with blue Led lighting and it runs silently. It comes with the capability of powering both 6 pin and 8 pin PCIe connectors for your GPU cards and has three of each cable so it can handle 3 cards. The unit can power 12 SATA drives, 6 Molex accessory power outputs and 2 floppy power connectors. It can provide 1000W of computer power continuously at 40 degrees C (104 degrees F) and it operates at 85% efficiency.

The main motherboard power connector will work on either a 20 or 24 pin main connector. It has four 12 VDC rails rated at 20 Amps, 20 Amps, 30 Amps and 30 Amps to provide stable and reliable power for all of your system components. It also has an 8 pin CPU EPS power connector for the higher power CPUs in use today. The 12 VDC combined output is rated at 900 W at 75 Amps. The 3.3 VDC and 5 VDC combined output is rated at 180 W capability. This is a monster power supply.

All of the cables are sleeved in mesh sleeving and look nice in the computer case. The power supply also has over temperature, current, voltage power protection and under voltage and short circuit protection to protect your sensitive computer system components. The unit also has active power factor correction to provide clean and reliable power while compensating for varying inductive and capacitive loads in your computer.

This is a beautifully designed power supply and will meet your needs on your next computer build. All of the modular cables come in a separate zip storage bag for you to keep them in if you do not use them all at the time of your computer build. Leaving out the extra cables improves the air flow in your computer and improves the cooling efficiency. Make sure to route your cables nicely as that will also improve your system cooling.

You cannot go wrong with a quality power supply for your next build!

5Great deal!
By Ghyschur
It is a really heavy box, but it is quiet, glows a beautiful blue, powers on every time, more than enough extra power cables, and it works great for AMD motherboards. Great product for the cheap price.
