I received my new power supply today and I installed it into an XPS 8300 to replace my 460W stock dell PSU. I connected all the cables into the right places and nothing wrong has happened so that's a good sign. I comment more until it has been broken for at least a month. I advise anyone who is planning on upgrading their power supply to check the dimensions of the power supply they are going to take out against the new one. Depending on what power supply have make sure that the new PSU you're putting in is the same width as the current on that you have or it won't fit, the new PSU can a bit longer depending on what tower you have. I had a little difficulty putting the SeaSonic 650W in because it was just about 2/3 an inch longer than the stock PSU. However, it sits perfectly inside and looks pretty good.

Got this power supply because I was looking for something a bit more efficient (80 Plus Gold or Platinum), and also preferably modular..
My only complaint is that the wires provided are a bit cheap, really would've preferred sleeved, but hey, for the price, you really can't beat this. Every other quality modular power supply is at least $50 more.

What a really great power supply. Perfect for my new computer. Easy to install, cables for everything. Really gives the computer a professional touch. I am also pleased with the quietness of this power supply. It's been purring along for a month (or so) so far and I have no reason to doubt that it will keep going. It's one of those products that you pick-up and you can see and feel the quality, not necessarily sexy, but solid.
